- 1/2cup roasted peanuts
- 1/2cup total of mixed raw nuts (like almonds, cashews, and macadamia)
- 1 1/2cup pitted dates
- 1/2teaspoon sea salt
This basic recipe is a jumping start to add in some other ingredients that compliment the sweet-salty, such as chocolate chips, pretzels, unsweetened shredded coconut or even citrus zests and extracts.
This version will have a predominantly peanut butter flavor, but feel free to experiment with the ratio of peanuts to the other nuts.
If you only have roasted nuts, don’t hesitate to still make these. It’ll probably have a more roasted flavor than if you use raw nuts but that is ok.
